Earth Team Volunteers

You Can Make a Difference - Volunteer! Your conservation district needs your help! You can do something to make a difference by volunteering. What is in it for you? For high school or college students this offers a great opportunity to gain some experience in the agriculture and conservation field. Jobs are very competitive in the conservation field. This would not only increase valuable skills needed in the future and give you a "hands-on" opportunity, but would also look great on a resume.

One does not need to be a student. Retired persons, homemakers and others are also welcome. We try to match a person’s interests and skills with the work and projects we have available, such as:

  • Computers
  • ArcGIS mapping
  • Filing & Clerical
  • Conservation Planning
  • Field Design & Layout
  • Educational Projects with Community and Kids
  • Public Relations
  • Marketing
  • Photography
  • Scrapbook
  • Special Projects Related to the Mission of the Soil and Water Conservation District
