Products may be purchased from our office with cash or check only.  Funds from the sale of these products goes toward the Booster Club, which is used to help finance conservation activities such as scholarships, outdoor classroom activities, postage, and conservation awards.

An interactive CD version of the soil survey of Howard County, Iowa, was digitized in 2004 using ortho photography from 2002.

free of charge (while supplies last)

The major fieldwork for the Howard County Soil Survey was performed in the period 1962-1967 and was issued in 1974.  The published survey book has details about all the soil types present in our county.
