About Us

Office Staff

Professional staff is provided to the district by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship/ Division of Soil Conservation and the Natural Resources Conservation Service. The Howard District also raises money to provide additional staffing.

Commissioners

The Howard Soil & Water Conservation District is made up of five locally elected residents of Howard County who serve as volunteers providing local program guidance to solve natural resource problems within the district. The commissioners meet on the second Tuesday of every month which is open to the public.
